No, but we strongly encourage co-facilitation whenever possible. Co-facilitation provides a number of benefits: co-facilitators often bring complementary skillsets to facilitation, and having a co-facilitator means that if one of your participants needs one-on-one attention, one of you can be free to manage the group. It’s also great to have a co-facilitator with whom you can debrief and solicit feedback. Our best co-facilitator pairs include a yoga teacher and mental health professional, but we suggest you select a co-facilitator with a complementary skillset to your own.
