Our Inspiring Story | A Decade of Helping People Recover from Eating Disorders

We need your help to keep our programs free and accessible to all.

Ten years ago, our founder Chelsea Roff set out to help people recover from eating disorders. After a battle with anorexia nearly ended her life as a teenager, she wanted to help others.

In the decade since, we’ve grown into an international nonprofit organization. We’ve trained over three thousand professionals to deliver our programs in schools, treatment centers, and communities in need. Collectively we’ve helped over ten thousand people in forty-two countries.

Eating disorders are difficult to beat. But as a community, we know recovery is possible. For many, yoga provides a key missing link in treatment — helping people to reconnect with their body, access self-compassion, and reach full recovery.
