Learn to facilitate the Leading Yoga Program For Eating Disorder Prevention and Recovery
Start your training to become an Eat Breathe Thrive Facilitator today.
This training prepares to lead the Eat Breathe Thrive Seven Week-Series, an integrative yoga-based program for eating disorder prevention and recovery. It was developed by Chelsea Roff, a yoga therapist and researcher who recovered from an eating disorder in her late teens. Over the last ten years, it has helped more than 10,000 people in 58 countries to eat mindfully, build emotional resilience, and find ease in their bodies.
The Eat Breathe Thrive program is the only yoga intervention for eating disorders that has been extensively studied in scientific research. It has been shown to reduce eating disorder symptoms, shape/weight concerns, loneliness, anxiety, PTSD symptoms, and depression. It has also been shown to increase body appreciation, interoception, positive coping, and self-compassion.
This training will provide you with the knowledge, resources, and support you need to successfully lead the Eat Breathe Thrive program in schools, treatment centers, yoga studios, virtual spaces, and your community.
This training includes:
Live sessions, on-demand videos, and manual
Our training approach is hands-on and experiential. You will receive a comprehensive manual, access to an online course with 30+ hours of video, and ten live coaching sessions with a supervisor.
Practice facilitation with supervision
Connect directly with a skilled and experienced supervisor as you move through the training and practice leading your first course for participants.
Support from a professional community
As a Facilitator in Training, you’ll receive ample opportunities to meet other facilitators and learn from their experience. We host regular meet-up events and continuing education webinars, which you have full access to during your training.
Learning Objectives

Because the program includes many different modalities, we encourage facilitators to work with a co-facilitator when possible. We recommend you select a co-facilitator who has a complementary professional background and skill set. Our best co-facilitator teams include both a yoga teacher and a mental health professional. Both facilitators must participate and complete the training in order to be considered for admission.
